They use it for communication (telepathy), decentralised energy generation and also for the transportation (e.g. flying discs) between stars and even between galaxies. I believe that a psychic machine, which draws energy from a galaxy scale Dyson sphere can influence even celestial bodies. Such a machine can shift a planet’s orbit or detach a star from its parent galaxy with Telekinesis force.
